If you don’t want to receive calls from your iPhone on your Mac (OS X Yosemite), you ned to disable this function in FaceTime on the Mac.
Here is how you disable it on your Mac:
- Open the “FaceTime” application on the Mac
- Pull down the FaceTime menu and choose “Preferences”
- Under the primary Settings tab, uncheck the box for “iPhone Cellular Calls”
- Close Preferences and quit FaceTime
This will prevent this Mac form receiving any notifications, calls or making calls thru the iPhone. But, It will not impact other FaceTime features and the ability to make FaceTime audio or video calls.
If you only want to receive or make calls from your iPhone you can disable this feature on your iPhone.
