Game Center is an online multiplayer social gaming platform that was created by Apple. It was available on iOS devices at first, but it was later integrated in Mac OS X as well, with the introduction of Mountain Lion (Mac OS X 10.8).
Using Game Center on Mac is pretty easy. First you need to launch the Game Center application. You won’t find it in the Dock, but we will show you how to access it easily.
If you would like to view the game leaderboards for a certain game, you can do that by visiting the “Games” tab.
Practically every member of Game Center can challenge you, whether it’s your friend or a stranger.
Achievements are awarded for completing certain milestones in a game.
You can find friends in Game Center, and add new friends by clicking the “Friends” tab in Game Center, and then on the “Add Friends” button. Afterwards, you can enter either your friend’s Game Center nickname, or their email adress.
Getting games in Game Center on your Mac couldn’t be easier, and there are actually a few ways you can do it. As soon as you launch the Game Center application you will be greeted with game suggestions on the left and right side.
